The most satisfying Lego set I've ever built

Lego and the fan designer absolutely nailed this one. The packaging, the instructions, and the final product are amazing. Built it in a little over 10 hours and and it was a great experience. The lions are so solid and fantastic, and they combine into Voltron better than I could have imagined. Now I hope they do a Vehicle Voltron at some point too!

Outstanding build set for family fun

I am a massive Lego fan with well over 40 sets of Lego from the Creater, Star Wars and Limited Edition sets, but this is the first time I have left a review.
I liked Voltron as a child, but my husband is the big Voltron fan and really wanted the set. I liked the set but wasn't IN LOVE with it (not like with my Millenium falcon or perhaps the Ferris Wheel), but when we finally sat down to build it last weekend, it was an awesome family activity.
Because there were 4 of us (my husband and my 2 kids) we each did a lion and the fastest builder would get to make the last lion. The instructions were easy, so a child younger than my 9 and 10 year old should be able to follow them.
All up it took us under 2 hours to complete and the model is not only sturdy, but it looks great and they come apart easily and slot together easily. The playability of the set is awesome, which makes it more than just your usual display trophy Lego piece.
I would highly recommend it to all Voltron fans and anyone who loves to build Lego with their kids/spouses.

Great kit filled with a lot of fun!

Very well designed and goes together easily.
I like how they have you build all the Lions Individually first. I decided to start with the arms (Red & Green Lions), followed by the legs (Blue & Yellow Lions), and then finally the centerpiece (Black Lion).

Even though I understand why, my only complaint is the lack of playability and mobility when the lions are formed into Voltron.
It would be nice if they included some mini figures in the set.

Awesome Experience

This was my first LEGO set purchased as an adult. It may have been 30 years since I last built anything out of LEGOs. I signed up for the VIP program as soon as VOLTRON was announced so that I could order it.
Must say I was a little intimidated when the box arrived. But the building instructions and organization of the parts were great. While the first lion was challenging, I was able to get more comfortable as the build progressed. I very much enjoyed building them all and felt pride when the job was complete. This might have been my first LEGO set in a while, but I don't think it will be the last.

VOLTRON Defender of the Universe

So I haven't bought a LEGO set in months, however when I first saw pictures for this set I knew that this one was a must buy. This set is absolutely breathtaking, it looks amazing on display and I love the transformation play features! My only complaint is that the shoulders were somewhat challenging to detach, which isn't even much of a complaint. It was a very enjoyable build and I love all the functions to it. Overall not only is this a great set, but it also rekindled my love for LEGO! Well done!!

This was a fantastic Build. I highly recommand that if you are not a Lego V.I.P. and you have to wait for August 1 to get it. i recommand you get to your Nearby Lego Store A.S.A.P. on August 1 because Lego Voltron will be selling like Hot Cakes. if you are a fan of the 1980's Voltron. this is a excellent Build from Yellow Lion all the way to the Green Lion and the formation of Voltron.

This is one of the coolest sets I've ever had. looks great on my desk at work and overall was blast to build. Instructions for Lions-> Voltron was a little confusing, but with some experimentation I figured it out.
Overall a really good purchase

I don't normally write reviews, but this set is amazing.
I have been playing with/ building Lego pretty much my whole life and this Voltron Lego set would have to be the best I have ever had the pleasure of building.

To start with it is essentially 5 sets in one which then combines together to form Voltron.Each lion is slightly different so it doesn't feel the same each build. The attention to detail is amazing. Nostalgia through the roof.
This is a great set to build with others ( I did it myself as my son is still in Duplo stage) and value for money is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
