Voltron is a great and solid lego build

I have been building legos since the mid 1980s. This Voltron build is a very SOLID build. I love how all the lions come together to assemble Voltron. The build time might be a little deceiving because I like to take some time and enjoy the build versus doing a speed build. I actually built the Blue lion with my three neices, two are 6 and one is 5. One of my older nieces was very fascinated while the other two seemed to have other interests, that is until they started seeing a finished product.
If you like Voltron, and even if you have no idea what Voltron is, I would highly recommend this build.
It's fun, it's not very repetitive, it has a lot of pieces, it's VERY solid. Voltron stands on its own and plus you get all five lions and the sword and shield.
I loved building this

Worth it

Was excited when I saw this get announced and wasn’t disappointed when I started building it. Knocked out the Yellow Lion in an hour and half before going to bed the night I got it, then knocked out the rest of the lions yesterday in 5 hours. Easy to combine, great detail, well worth the money spent.

Like being a child again...

When I saw Lego Voltron in my gaming magazine I just knew I had to have it. Voltron was a memorable cartoon from my childhood and Lego did not disappoint. The detail and the action by combining the 5 lions into Voltron made me feel like a kid again.. Thank you Lego and awesome job on Voltron....

VOLTRON !!!
Pretty enjoyable build with a side of nostalgia. There was a lot of special pieces to accommodate being true to the design. Each lion is very solid by itself and it transfers over when Voltron is formed. I am pretty much geared to LEGO Technic cars but Voltron was a necessary exception. Well worth it.

I found myself getting sucked in during the build of this and totally losing track of time. Each lion kept me geeking out over how the mechanics of each worked to both play in lion form as well as transforming for the main Voltron robot. Loved how the design was done so that each lion was kept distinct unlike many of the toy remakes over the years. Many kudos to the designer and the LEGO team to bring this to life.

I built a lion a day trying to space it out and enjoy myself, I could probably done it in about 8 hrs had I wanted to. Fun to build and is a great display piece. Just with I had some pilots to stand next to their lions.
