DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE!

Awesome, fun, and challenging build! So awesome seeing the Old school Lion Force in LEGO form. Super enjoyable building each lion and then seeing them come together to form Voltron is a major nostalgia feel. Even if you didn’t watch the original show, this is a fun build.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Voltron my 1st LEGO Build

This is my first LEGO set I have ever purchased as well as built. I was looking for something at work to do in between calls. The moment I laid eyes on this set I said wow Voltron looks amazing.
As a first time builder I appreciated one manual for each lion and separated bags to open one at a time. It made my build easier and yes to trying more LEGO sets. I also saw this on speed build reviews on YouTube from LEGO so that was the key deciding factor.
The build went great overall had to backtrack a few steps here and there when I missed identified pieces, but it was overall a fun experience especially when you finish a lion motivated me to move on.
Complaints the only real downside is the Black Lion is completely out of proportion compared to the other lions. Yes it had to be for Voltron to form and look amazing so a sacrifice had to be made somewhere.
My next LEGO set is the Fiat 500.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a fun and fantastic set to build. My wife and I took our time and over the span of 2 weekends we completed this set. So AWESOME

Childhood Toy

Voltron was my childhood favorite toy of all times. I drew it so much that my older brother bought me the whole set. That was 35+ years ago. When I found out LEGO had them, I immediately placed an order. It took some time to build, but it was all worth it when you see the 5 lions combined. It brought back so many memories.

Voltron - An Instant Classic

Really great to have this be voted as a IDEAS approved set. You don't get to see these types of sets unless it pertains to a big group. But playing with Voltron only gets you a small niche of certain people. But if it's LEGO Voltron, well then you get a wider net who will appreciate this more because of the nostalgic feeling from both the LEGO and the Voltron piece.

Great, except...

I am a huge Voltron fan, and got this for my birthday. After moving, my girlfriend and I were putting it all together! When we finally worked on the Black Lion, one crucial piece was missing: the jaw piece/Voltron's mouth! We looked everywhere and even in the extra pieces. No mouth found. Where would I be able to find a piece???

Great nostalgia

I really enjoyed this set. It was a very well thought out build. The only thing that could have made it better was if they included minifigures of the five pilots.
