Even better than expected

The photos will never do justice to what this product actually looks like in real life. My son and I put in some quality time building this together. There is some awesome detail included, and he has had so much fun playing with the set!

I built with my family. It was fun. Good product and really solid, each lion is very solid by itself and it transfers over when Voltron is formed, but it'a not a toy for toddler!

Great to build in stages

Building Voltron was a fun experience. Large projects like this can take a while that some may not be up for in one long build. We preferred to work on it one cat at a time. Transforming them into Voltron was nostalgic with what I remember the cartoon being like as a kid. Highly recommended for Voltron fans of any age!

Worth the money fun the assembly

Best Lego Idea ever! A brilliant and challenging set. Bought this for my autistic son that loves LEGO and myself to buil it together. It is absolutely a stunning set. It a Wow my son and it bought back an old memories for me. Great set to build together.

This kit is incredible. The colors, and everything look so good. It was super fun to build. I almost want a second set so I can display the Lions and the complete Voltron. It's that great looking.

Defender of the universe!

As soon as I saw this was coming, I exclaimed and shared with a couple like-minded friends. Once it was available for pre-order, I ordered 2 - one to build, one to leave in the box.
Upon arrival, I was giddy with excitement and anxious to get started! Putting it together took about 8-10 hours total (taking my time and including breaks for whatever): approximately 2 hours each for Blue/Yellow, 1.25-1.50 hours each for Red/Green, and then about 2-2.50 hours for for Black.
I did leave one small piece out of the Yellow lion's cannon because it kept popping off when I would convert it to the leg form. Other than that one little thing, it's fantastic!
The hardest part of it all is keeping my young kids away from it so they don't lose any parts. One day one of them will get it. Until then, we look with our eyes, not with our hands.
Great job, Lego!!!

Voltron:Defender of the Universe!

With the 5 mighty Lions united, they form the massively awesome LEGO Ideas Voltron set! Although not the most challenging build, it is definitely one of the most rewarding! Seeing all five lions come together to form Voltron, with it's sword and shield! Each lion has their own building instruction booklet, and there is a 6th booklet to show how to connect the lions together to form Voltron! Definitely one of my favorite building experiences, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the old or new version of the Voltron animated series. Happy Building! :)

Just Like I Remember

The Votron set was a joy to put together for my spouse and me. The set is well organized to build the lions one by one, which breaks the set up into nice digestible sittings. We both remember the show fondly and it was fun to make the lions into Voltron at the end.
