5 smaller size, but really cool builds combine for one larger 6th design. The transformation is interesting and very satisfying. I didn't have exposure to the cartoon, but my older brothers did, yet I still love it. All the lego mechs are must have. Display either way looks great.

This set was so great to build with my 8 year old son and my wife, I relived voltron since I watched it as a kid. Perfect resemblance, great detail. Thank you to Mr. Tayag and Lego for this. Have built many a sets in my time and this is the best. My son's favorite color is green and wanted the sword in the green lion.

I have loved voltron since i was a kid, in fact i built a lego version when i was 8 (not to this caliber, of course) and i was so excited when this set got announced. i could have built it faster but i enjoyed it and took my time. the detail and technique are amazing. i can not put into words how great this set is. even if you are not a voltron fan u should buy this set.

Great build

This was a fun build, and I love the final product, both as the lions and as Voltron. My only slight issue is the black lions front legs, the knee joints are a little weak, so if they're not perfectly straight, they're going to slide out from under him. But that's not enough of an issue to drop my rating to 4 stars!

This set was a dream come true. Had a fantastic time building. So much fun seeing it all come together and the detail involved is amazing. And it’s quite large which adds to the fun.

Childhood Memories rebooted

I saw this in marketing over the summer of 2018. Fell in love with it. Totally taking me back to my childhood days of watching Voltron, combined with Legos. This is the first set I've boughten/received since my teenage years. It's gotten me hooked on Legos again. Getting my daughters involved now and looking at buying more sets now that they are old enough to enjoy with me.
This set is very cool. I only wish the sword had a better way of being held by lions. When the Voltron is holding the sword, have extra pieces set aside to be able to put sword together when not in lions mouth. Otherwise VERY cool!!
I think the extra 'kick' would've been to have figures actually able to come in/out of the lions, but that would've added to it's over size and of course costs.
Still, very much love it. Best Christmas Gift in a LONG time!! :D

This set is a lot of fun, each lion is a little different so its not too repetitive. I love these kinds of sets because of the creative ways the designer used a lot of the pieces and it makes me think of new things to try when I'm free building. I'm not familiar with voltron, but I love transformers and power ranger type stuff, this is definitely one of the coolest sets I've ever had.
