When I first heard about this LEGO set, I knew I had to have it!
This set is absolutely amazing!
This is for anyone who loved the Cartoon series from the 80's or fans of Voltron in general! I'm amazed by the level of detail and have been blown away by how impressive this set is!! Highly recommended!!

Ive loved Legos since the late 70s. been building and playing with them for a long time now. This set is complex, time consuming, and is very very fun to build and set up. even if I took time out of my build sessions to play with the individual lions. but once it was all done. and it was awesome to look at, and build. Its the biggest Lego project Ive ever done at over 2000 pieces, but well worth the price I paid for it. and while I did take 3 days, it took me quite a while to build it. 16 bags is a ton of Lego bricks. may you and yours have as much fun with this set as I did.

An epic Lego set, I got it to be my boyfriends X-mas gift.
He loved Voltron as a kid, and we both love Lego even as grown ups. I can't wait to see his eyes light up as he gets be step into the shoes of the pilot of the black lion to form the head, out of Lego!

Really great construction - why no minifigs?

This was a great build from the standpoint of the lions. The feet lions are superbly designed. The arms are also intelligently done. The main body (black) lion has some hiccups and I would have done the design differently, but that's me. The black lion just isn't fun to play with in lion form because it's so restricted in movement. The head design is genius. The connections in Voltron form are really well done. The shield is also well designed. The sword being 1 sided and kind of short left me wanting. Seemed like an afterthought. The main issue I had this this set is for the price you get 0 minifigs. I fully expected 5 figs with helmets. I don't care they don't go in the lions, it would have put an exclamation point on the set. Opportunity missed, I think. Each of my kids ranging 12 to 5 helped build a lion. They were pretty easy. The main body was somewhat complicated, but not overly hard. I think a kid used to lego builds could put this together in a day and have a ton of fun (while having to sub in their own minifigs).

Originally bought this set for my hubby but somehow the kids took over the project, mainly by my 5 year old and he's not even an expert in LEGO building! I was so surprised how focused he was. It kept him away from the screens for a long time!! The pieces were easy to assemble as it has different parts to it. I assume that is why it was okay for a 5 year old to build. Assembling of course was by hubby Yes he missed some parts but thats okay. ! hehe.

I have been waiting for Lego to release a set like this my whole life. I’m a huge Lego fan. I grew up watching Voltron and I was so excited to hear that Lego was releasing a Voltron set. And as always, Lego did not disappoint! This set is huge! I mean huge! And the best part is your Lions transform into Voltron!! This set comes with some awesome colors and new pieces! My favorite was the new silver pieces to build the sword and accents on the Lions. This is definitely a must have for your Lego Collection.

An absolute pleasure to get this set and build it. Was so excited to get my hands on this set, since the press release on it a while ago. The box pront is great and the instruction manual is one of the best lego have done in the ideas range. This is a definite must have if you are big fan of lego..

Over the course of a week my kids and I built this. We really enjoyed the build and the design a lot.
This turned out so much better than I thought it would. Awesome job. Glad I was able to vote for this on ideas and now own it.
