Great for a build party!

Tackled with my kids and their cousins. Each building a lion, smartly the set comes with individual books, as one big party.
Assembled, or as five lions, it makes a great display piece!

Most Intersting LEGO I’ve Ever Built

This set was a must have for me. It is much bigger than I expected, but is solid as Voltron or the individual lions. The designers have done an amazing job at making the set work, as there are a lot of different building techniques that I haven’t ever seen in any of the other sets. The set took my son and I around 2 hours a night for 5 nights to build this set, and have enjoyed every second of it!

This is my second Lego purchase and it was one I have been waiting for. Was very exciting building this one and a blast from the past. My only complaint is that I would have like to seen the paladin pilots come with this set.

Fantastic set with lots of fun moving parts, and easier build than the 16+ rating implied. Fragile when joined, but so, so cool to look at and (carefully) play with). Form Voltron!

If you are the type who enjoys a good fun & relaxing build do yourself a favor, get this set.
If you enjoy looking at a fantastic set once you are done building it, yup, this set is for you.
If you, like many others here, have a soft spot for Voltron then, I am quite sorry, you have no choice but to get this set.
Yes, it is that awesome.
That said, minor MINOR nitpickings, I can understand the reasoning and choices made to make the assembled mecha stable. BUT, it is such a shame that there aren't any joints on the legs or waist.
Still, the finished set is amazing and the build quite interesting, can't get any better at this scale.
Good job Lego!

Daughter who is 8, has been building Legos for the past 4 or 5 years now. This is by far our favorite built to date, this thing brings back memories from when I was a child and I had Voltron action figures. Once completed the built is sturdy and can easily be posed with the shield and sword and holds its balance well. There is rubber wheels on the bottom which help keep balanced. While it’s a reletively easy build it’s worth the end result. We are going to purchase a second set so that we can display as transformed. We hope to see more sets like this, while we love Star Wars we are interested in Lego designing more things like Voltron.
