Amazing Creation

This set does justice of how amazing it looks. yes it may seem like a lot with 2300 pieces but you don't notice there is that many. I know I didn't. I love this piece.

One of the best builds ever...

I've built a lot of sets over the years, from the recent UCS Millennium Falcon, the Death Star, Aston Martin, Hulkbuster, original UCS X-Wing and many more. This set was the best build ever. The organization and instruction books were very clear, making lion assembly quick and easy. The stickers were minimal, with many pieces being directly printed on as opposed to requiring stickers. The conversion from lions to Voltron was elegant and surprisingly solid. The fidelity to the original Voltron of my childhood was eerie, side by side with my Matel lions the depiction was near perfect. I can not recommend this set enough. I purchased two, and plan to display Voltron flanked by the Lions perched on pedestals.

Great to See Childhood TV Show

Outstanding Lego - brought back memories watching the show as a child, always wanted the die-cast version, but then saw the LEGO come out and bought right away. Only disappointment, was the face brick not being painted like the side leg disks of all the individual Lion's. Other than that, Pretty Amazing Lego Set.

My prized lego build

This was the most fun I have had building a LEGO piece in a long time. Every lion has amazing detail and when you connect every single one to make Voltron, you look back and just give yourself a pat on the shoulder on what you have accomplished. I know there are other bigger and harder LEGO builds which I can wait till I get my hands on but this will be enough until then.

Worth every penny

If you grew up in the 80's and had this toy you will not regret getting this set. The playability on this really reminds me of the old metal sets. The way the Lions come together to form Voltron while altering only a miniscule number of bricks is amazing.
I love the weight and density of each lion as well as the fully formed Voltron. You will love the set. This is a must buy set.

Voltron Fantastic

I got this set as I grew up in the 80s and LOVED the show. My son and i worked on it for a little under 2 days, the harderst one was the black lion as hthat is the body, it took me around 3 hours to do the yellow lion [leg], but of course my son did blue lion [leg] in under 2. It is worth every penny spent, amazing details and love the awesome craftsmanship. Lego's did it right!

I've been a Lego fan for a long time. I've been a Voltron fan for a long time as well. The two combined just blew my mind! It is a massive set too! I love it and it's my top 5 favorite set!

Looks great put together (though it is a challenge to get all of the lions lined up just right). Enjoyed putting the set together and loved the fact the instructions were divided between each lion, which even allowed my son to build one of the lions while I built the other ones.
I would recommend this to a friend!
