Tron Light Cycles !

I love both the tron movies so when I saw this set I just had to get it. It’s a great set fairly easy to assemble and after assembled there are multiple ways you can either play with it or display it.
Would highly recommend.

Original Tron fan here. Liked the new version too. I envision the iconic music to go with this set. Just bought this set.
I wish they would do another movie. Long overdue. This set captures them in game race mode. Love the neon see through coloured and black bricks design.
Who else would think of this?

Great set

This set was a long time coming. The imagery and characters of Tron: Legacy lended heavily towards a LEGO product. The fact we now have a set with Sam and Rinzler in it is wonderful.
The light cycle builds are fun. They are a little fidgety and pieces snap off easily sometimes. The play factor is wonderful however and the fact the wheels turn is great.
The grid LEGO base is also a wonderful treat.
It would have been nice if Rinzler and Sam got custom helmets but one cannot have everything.
Overall a wonderful set, especially for younger boys.

This was my first Lego build and it was so fun! It was easier then I thought I'd be, but complex enough to keep me engaged. I'm a huge Tron fan, so I'm so glad that this set was available! It looks great as a display piece and really captures the energy of the Grid. Thanks Lego!

This set was amazing it was a easy and fun build. Also amazing to play with, i posted this on lego life because of how cool the set was, i guess all i have to ask is can we please continue this series with tron. I would love to be able to get clu,Kevin Flynn, characters and the vehicles they used in the movie

The Ideas theme has never let me down when it comes to detail, and this set is no exception. The mini figures are exceptional and the prints are visually pleasing. There is one minor flaw though. The set includes a stand, which is nice, but the connection is holds to each of the bikes is not very strong, and results in some looseness. With three magnificent minifigures, a new sub-theme, and some great displaying value, I would say this particular Ideas set is a win.

Slightly Mismolded Wheels

First off, this set is a great display piece for older audiences, as well as also offering great playability for younger audiences. It is and easy build, and features great minifigures. Now, mismolded may be an overstatement, more of printing on a slightly incorrect piece, 3 of the wheel pieces for Rinzler's light cycle (piece no. 6228443) contained holes in the studs, when the studs are supposed to be closed. This doesn't greatly affect the bike, only hinders its ability to roll and the overall look of the wheels. However, I would still recommend this set as this is probably specific to my set only.

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you had a piece with a molding error. Definitely not normal! It's super easy to request a replacement, though. Just go to LEGO.com/Service and choose the "Bricks & Pieces" option to get started.
