I am a huge fan of TRON, and when I saw that LEGO made a TRON Legacy kit my jaw dropped and I bought it immediately! I love that it has its own display stand because this is now my newest edition to my games room display! If you guys ever make anymore TRON LEGO sets, you can count on me to own each and every set of the series.

This Tron set is amazing!

I am highly impressed with the quality of this set. The fact that it is so close to the movie design yet still generally playable (and low priced considering) is just awesome. The minifigure designs are some of, in my opinion, the best I've seen from LEGO. My only complaint about this set is that some parts of the light cycle build are very easily broken, thus making it more appealing as a display set than a playable one. That being said though it is still an amazing set that I would highly recommend. Tron fans will especially highly enjoy this set.

Awesome Kit

This kit is so cool. I loved Tron as a kid and Tron Legacy as an adult so this kit was a must have. It was fun to build too. My 6 year old son built one light bike and I build the other. It was a great time. Now he loves to drive them around and battle. Don't worry, he knows the rules. The bikes can't be taken apart and have to be back on my desk before bed. ;-)

Best Lego set ever, I love it and am sad it is retired. The only thing is I wish that you could order replacement parts. When we moved, my son lost the Rinzler Helmet, and I cannot find a replacement, otherwise, greatest set ever!

Set was great and fun, just wish there were more sets from this movie. I think this movie and Real Steal built my childhood. I would drop a lot of money on more tron legacy sets. Im sure alot of other people would too.

I have been waiting for this set for a while, Brick Bros UK did a great job and LEGO just improved upon it. All three mini figures are amazing but for $35 dollars I wish it included Clue. This set is on the expensive side but is definitely worth it.

I am a huge fan of Tron and Lego ideas. I find it amazing that the community can vote on Lego sets. I supported this Tron set and am very glad that I did.
The colors, printing, and aesthetic truly capture the Tron vibe.
It took me under an hour to build this set, along with reading the fun movie and designer tidbits in the manual. I appreciate the care that comes when designing this package. The box is truly a work of art.
I highly recommend this set to any Tron and Lego fan. Its a fun build with nice play-ability.

I would love to see some way to add LEDs to this set.

I was looking forward to this one, so when it came out I ran to the Lego store and picked it up. The set is well designed, but the playability just isn't there for me. The way it is set up, the moulding pops off with little effort.
I love the way the minifigs fit into the cycles to look like they are merged into the cycle like in the movies.
The trails of the cycles are a very good idea. It will look better once I put a couple of LED lights into it to make them truly light up like light cycles.
The display is nice, and the cycles are pretty, the trails need to wrap around and extend. But that is an unfair call on my part.
I look forward to getting more time to play with them.

Hi there! Thanks for the review. This set was created with a great platform, similar to the TRON grid in the cyberworld and allows for the illusion of the hovering Light Cycles. The minifigures can sit on the bike or take the battle to the grid, Quorra and Sam Flynn can even go off grid just like in the movie.
