I just finished building this, and it is amazing! The attention to detail is outstanding, down to the crooked tiles and patched up roof. I highly recommend this set. I will proudly display it in my living room.

This set is just amazing. The detail is incredible from the rocks surrounding the house, the plethora of items to stock the store with and the fact that the lobster and fish containers have clear pieces to look like ice. I took my time with this set and enjoyed every second of the build. Lots of unique blocks to have fun with. This set seemed to come to life after the build and my Lego friends now look at it with jealousy in their eyes. I'm sure they are going to buy there own sets soon! Get this set for it truly was my catch of the day! Happy building!

This set is spectacular. Although 70% of the build is placing the pieces for the tiles, the play experience makes up for it. The minifigures are really cool with the new molds, the tidbits and lobsters and other things that go in the chests are very neat. The printed boards are spectacular, I am very glad to get more of those. It is hard to fit a human hand inside of the shop to take things out, but the opening wall on the back is very helpful. I would buy another set just to have the pieces. LEGO did an amazing job with this.

Fantastic build with so many layers and textures! The old fishing store has become my favorite build hands down. Love the fact that it was "Fan designed". It really is a beautiful piece!

Great Fun

I haven’t been building LEGO sets long but this is one of the best I’ve enjoyed so far. I love the colour scheme, it’s very stable, the overall artistic design is fabulous, and the modular construction with the swinging wall is unique. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I thought the pieces added for the inside “crates” and walls was overkill. Just my opinion. The highlight of the model without a doubt is the rubber seagulls! Overall an exceptional build that didn’t involve Star Wars or Ninjas so how can you go wrong? I would definitely buy another kit like this if one was sold.

I took my time and really enjoyed building this set. The specialty pieces made this set very fun to build. It might seem expensive for it’s size but it is a very unique build that has great play potential.

This is a great set, pretty challenging for big hands, and looks fantastic. There are a lot of loose pieces that go in barrels, chests, etc so that may be a bit challenging to keep together.
The plethora of unique pieces were great, the construction solid, and made good use of irregular pieces to give it that worn look.
Definitely worth it if you are looking for a solid ocean piece!
