So great I bought two!

I wanted a project for me and my son and we settled on making a fishing village. We bought two Fishing Stores and have built one as per the instructions, the other we will use to build a boat house and other villagey buildings.
It's an amazing set and is worth every single penny! There's lots of detail and is a joy to put together! My son has had so much fun so far and I feel like a little boy again. If we can afford it, I might buy a third one some day... Hahaha! Great stuff, Lego! Thank you for the fun!

Fun with supurb detail, love it

Built this in five or six sessions but hard to hold out working on this as detail evolved, some very clever building techniques and tons of accessories so the inside of the shop is a feast for the eye. One of my favourites and a real credit to original designer and Lego Making this. When your fitting out shop you may struggle if you have big fat fingers like me but not too bad if you take your time. The tiles used to clad the outside with ability to pose a few at angles add to the charm of this great set. Its also bigger than you think, almost like the modulars as it pretty much fills a 32x32 baseplate and is at least 20 bricks high.

Very fun build!!!!

I am 18 years old and I love Legos! I had my eye on this particular set for about 4 months or so and I finally decided to buy it recently. It took me a total of 3 days to build (a couple hours each day). One of the things that draw me toward a Lego set is the mini figures and the accessories included. This set had me very impressed because there was more accessories involved than I expected! Overall, this is probably one of my favorite sets that I've ever built, right up there with Harry Potter's Diagon Alley.

I love buildings best from LEGO and this is no exception. We were so impressed with the minute details inside the fishing store as well as outside. It is so well done and a fun construction project.

Normally don't go for the buildings being a big city and technic fan but my other half insisted we had to get this set and believe me it's worth every penny. It now has pride of place on the sideboard and has be well received by all who have seen it so far.
The detail is incredible and the whole set well thought out and fairly easy to construct.
Hats off to the lego fan who brought this to the table and well done to Lego for making it a reality.
I am now a building convert - diner next on the hit list!

Big props to the Ideas designer and the Lego team for this beautiful set! The colours are unique and the fishing store really reminds me of the kind I used to see in the Canadian East coast. The little lobster, crab and seagull pieces are a delight to play and display. I bought this for a friend and he absolutely adored it.

I fell in love with this set as soon as i saw it. I love the colour combination, the different levels, the higgledyness of the walls and roof, the jagged rocks. When it arrived it was even greater than expected. There's so much detailing, inside and out and the accessories that come with - lobsters (on ice), harpoons, fishing rods, scuba gear, nets, tackle boxes. There's so much to play with. The aesthetic is perfect (down to the two tone waders and Aran jumper on the fishing Captain), the build is great fun, the parts are accessible for play with hinged walls and lift off towers/roofs. Nothing disappoints. Thank you Lego for making this submission a reality. More like this!
