This is an absolutely beautiful set. It was a blast to build and is incredible to look at. My husband and I enjoyed working on it together. I think it is one of the most complete and intricately detailed sets we have done to date. I would rank it up there with Ninjago City and the Sea Cow. I really hope you will reconsider making some of the other sea front buildings this designer submitted. They would be very fun to have as a display together. We have a very full Winter Village that we bring out every Christmas that includes many of your fabulous sets and some designs of our own as well. I can't help wishing to make another Christmas village display of a water front village. Though I have no idea where I would put such a thing. I feel certain I am not even close to the only customer who would jump at the chance to buy more if this detail packed village.

Love this kit right away..

This kit caught my eye right away. I am usually a Technic Guy so I can’t explain why I liked this so much. Really fun build, looks awesome and unique. Worth buying a second kit just for the odd & one of a kind parts if you like to create your own. Worth every cent.

Plethora of detail

This is one of the larger sets by piece count that I’ve built. Many of those pieces are the little accessories that make this set special. The level of detail is astonishing. This set is geared more for display than play. The interior spaces are very compact and only the smallest of hands are able to reach in without knocking things off the interior walls. I am very happy with the purchase and don’t regret it for a minute

I LOVE THIS SET! It is fantastic! Everything about it is awesome! I love the way the green tile pieces sit on the building, how it opens up on from the side and the top, all the people. Love it!
LEGO, use more of these from the ideas page.

Great set, good primer for a series

I don’t write many reviews but felt this one was warranted. I knew I wanted this set since the first it was announced and ordered it day one. This set got me into LEGO ideas and supporting other sets. I learned more about the creator and his other designs. This set is top notch. Fun build, nice details, and good value. I know that thus far, the remainder of the creators sets have not been approved, but I truly hope LEGO takes his other sets and releases them as a theme of waterfront or something of the like. I think it would do quite well and I for one would buy each one. Great set, great theme. Looking forward to more to hopefully be released in the future.

This set is so detailed and has so much character and thought put into it. I just bought this set for my dad and he's so inspired by it and cannot tell me enough about how much he loves all the little details, colours, and just the overall character.

Saw this piece and just had to have it. Loads of features and extras that make you go WOW!
Great to build and as you do you wonder why you are putting this piece here and that piece there. Then when it all comes together, you can't help but smile.
The finished work looks stunning once complete.
