Amazing build

The old fishing store is so much fun to build, I couldn't believe the amount of detail on the inside. The colors were great and I enjoyed the the fact that the siding was meant to be crooked giving it the old look effect. The good, bad part was the back left corner is left completely empty. I always like to add to my builds so I plan to add a shipwrecked boat in that area. Overall I am very satisfied with this set. I hope they continue with more beach front sets.

I LOVED this set, and I’m not really a big collector of the city type kits. It just looked so interesting that I couldn’t resist. It also sits well with a few of the other beach type sets I have.
When building this set I had so much fun. The level of detail is incredible. None of the steps felt repetitive. It’s just awesome.
Playability. Wow. Just wow. It’s so well thought out. Big sections come off easily to allow fingers access without compromising structure of the overall look of the piece. It’s also great for display. I can’t wait to start taking some photos of the little guys running the store. I think all that is missing is a small fishing dinghy :)
Just get on and buy it! Little people will need help though as the build is tricky in that you need to pay attention to the steps, but well explained. I did have a “But you never have a 1x2 plate spare... where the...? Doh!” moment, followed by some tricky disassembly to add the part where it should be ;)

Excellent Set & Build

A great set with a lot of detail. Had a great time building it and I recommend this for anyone. Younger kids will want adults guidance, but this is a great addition to any collection!

The best set of 2017

This set is very good and for sure the best ideas set so far. It is incredibly detailed from all angles and at no point have the designers been lazy with the build. Despite this, it’s actually incredibly easy to build. In my opinion, it’s the best set of 2017

My adult sister and brother-in-law had never done a Lego build before. They are avid fishermen. This has kept them busy for about a week so far and they look at it as the greatest puzzle going. They have sent me pictures of their stage accomplishments with great glee and have remarked at the detail and workmanship of the pieces. Examples they gave me were the ice cubes in a pail before the lobster went in and even a cash register. No dimples or sprew on any of the perfectly manufactured pieces.

Astounding Detail and Great Piece Assortment

This is absolutely my FAVORITE set ever produced by the LEGO company. From the box, all the way to the finished build, this is amazing. I love the arms and legs with the two pieces of plastic molded together - this prevents wear compared to the previous way of printing them, and I'm very glad that LEGO has decided to do this.
No complaints here!
