Best Ideas set yet!

I absolutely love this set. To me this is the number one Ideas set to date just because of the amount of detail that went into not only the outside of this place but even the details inside are amazing. The more you build the more cool little details you are adding to it. This has a lot of play if that is what you are into also. The colors for this set are perfect as well. The build is not that challenging if you have built with lego before. Took me 8 hours and that was even with a little break in the middle of the build. If you only buy one Ideas set I think this should be the one you get without a doubt.

Wheres the bait?!

Since I love to fish, this build was alot of fun. What really surprised me were the details through out the whole build. The details inside the bait shop was so real. There were fishing poles, diver tanks and masks and helmets along with what looks like a dance floor and a place to check out with a cash register and other things would find at a restarant sitting around on the counter. There is a small office that has windows in itwith a small desk and lamp. The whole build has numerous windows. There are a couple of levels as well. The outside of it looks just like a bait shop that you would find in Florida. Its a little bit in disrepair but yet you can see what it used to be like when it was new. All together a great build and alot of fun!

So detailed!

I had a fantasy time building this huge set. There are so many details and fun little additions that make this set not only a fun build, but fun to play with as well. I like to take my time and prolong the fun, so this one took about a week or so to finish. Very easy to understand instructions. Highly recommend!

Excellent complicated build, without too many of the little fiddly frustrating bits. There are a ton of details: scuba gear, harpoons, and multiple crates of fish. (Why does a fishing shop need TNT?) The use of smaller pieces as shingles to give this the dilapidated look is effective and fun to fiddle with to get just right.

6 hours, 300+ steps and all the little details that make Lego great! I received this for Christmas as we are all Lego junkies. It took about 6 hours to build and it was worth every minute. The extra pieces (tools, rods, decor) really add to the set. It's more than just the building and will be a great addition to our collection.

Fun build for the whole family!

My 9 and 4 yr old boys helped me build this set . It was so much fun as we could all find something to build .
Love the details, right down to the bait shop accessories, ice cubes to out the fish in, and various seagulls (my 4 yr old’s favourite).
The colour scheme is awesome too and we love the multicoloured roof shingles.
The fact that the entire wall of the bait shop opens up gives the set more play factor potential .
Very sleek set for display as well . Hoping to get the Lighthouse set that’s just gone into review once it comes out :D
