Hot Coffee

We have had this 14 cup cuisinart coffee maker for less than a week but absolutely love the hot coffee it makes. We previously had a black and Decker 12 cup but the coffee seemed like it was only luke warm even after it was just made. We have set the cuisinart to medium on the hotplate and it keeps the coffee very hot. It also makes an excellent cup of coffee. Like I said only had it for a week but highly recommend it.The only thing we were concerned about was the carafe lid is not hinged, but no biggy , we are used to it now

Easy to use and hotter coffee

I have always had a cuisinart coffee maker. My last one I had for over 20 years, I was looking for a 14 cup for when I have company over and this will work just fine. I especially like that there is a control to even make it hotter. I programmed it to start the coffee just as I wake up so it is ready for me. It was so easy to set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to operate coffee maker. My husband particularly likes the ability to set on higher temperature setting. I like the visible chamber for filling with water.
Our last Cuisinart coffee maker had an element to keep the coffee hot once brewed. I wish this had been available with this model as well.

Makes coffee

Coffee maker works well. It is a bit slower than our old coffee maker so we have to be patient.
The plastic components are quite flimsy, specifically the top of the coffee maker where you put the coffee and water in.
The carafe lid doesn’t flip up, so you have to remove it to put water in it. Make it easy to clean though.
The light on the front is very bright and you cannot turn it off (that I could find yet).
Probably would not have purchased it had I been able to see and buy it in store vs online but we are locked down here currently and cannot do in store shopping.

Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker

Purchase at Best Buy was good. Curb side pick up was good. This is the 3rd cuisinart coffee maker we have purchased. The water reservoir on the first 2 have leaked. This will be the last we purchase if we encounter the same problem. Naturally the product fails once the guarantee is up. No repairs available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great

Makes a full 14 cups of coffee. The coffee is nice and hot. Was easy to set up and use. If you pour the coffee too quickly when the pot is full it will spill. Take your time on the initial first pour out of the pot.

Leaking

Purchased just over a year ago and now leaking and needs to be replaced. This is the 2nd coffee maker of same brand/model. 1st one lasted three years this one was leaking after about 15 months. Brews good coffee but does not last. Would not recommend.
