Produces fewer number of cups

Putting in 4 cups of water barely yields more than one cup of coffee. Impossible to use.

Recently bought this model on sale, great price. However, I think I got what I paid for. I am very disappointed with the design. The water and the coffee are both loaded from the top, which means the lid opens upward, forcing this machine to be pulled forward in order to try to fill each properly. The carafe leaks while pouring cofee, and filling the water tank. I am also not impressed with the material (plastic?) the machine is made out of. Good..the coffee temperature is hot!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It takes way too much water to make a few cups. You're supposed to be able to add 5 cups of water for 5 cups of coffee but adding 5 cups barely yields 2 cups of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I saw the review about the machine leaking - and I realized I'm not the only one then. The machine started leaking and we thought it's how we pour the water to the machine. That is the issue we had with our unit. But in terms of giving a hot cup of coffee - it's great. A lot of machines gives a warm coffee, not hot and quite a few that you will have to add way more water coz the water disappears.
I would recommend this to a friend!
