A very good-looking toaster - with one flaw

The toaster looks great and works pretty well, but I had to give it only 4 stars because it often takes two tries to get the bread toasted properly, even at the highest setting. I found this applies to several different kinds of bread. And I don't mean I like very dark toast, just medium brown.

Overall this is an ok toaster. The bread does not toast evenly (toasted more on one side than the other). Also, you need to push the levers pretty hard to stay in place.

This 4 slice toaster works well, but it takes some time to get used to the setting required for different types of bread. It’s basically a guess as to what setting is required for bagels verses regular sliced bread.
