I purchased this toaster to replace the identical style I purchased 6 years ago. Unfortunately this toaster isn’t the same quality as the original. It is much lighter in weight the toaster arms are weak. I will be surprised if it lasts 1 year. It doesn’t toast evenly on both sides so you wind up with an Eggo waffle toasty on one side and a bit soggy on the other. This is regardless of which side of the toaster you use.
I purchased a coffe maker at the same time. It replaced one that was 8 years old and of similar design. There are similar quality issues with it.

This toaster is to replace the same make and model that we have had for 15 years! So you could say we already know we’ll love it. I especially like the 4 slice model for making breakfast or toasted bred for sandwiches for two people. Saves time.

First and foremost, this unit toasts perfectly. You can adjust each side independently to exactly the degree you want. It heats the bread more slowly than cheap toasters so the outside surface is crisp but not burnt and the inside is warm. It doesn't add to the noise in the room by adding needless beeps. The slots are extra wide to accommodate bagels and English muffins. The front is flat with no recesses that could catch crumbs. We replaced an older Cuisinart toaster that had lasted 10 years. If this one does as well it will be a great bargain. The only minor annoyance is that the crumb trays are in the back so that we can't clean them without moving the unit.

I love Cuisinart toaster firstable its 4 slices very convenient when you have family of 4 its saves time ..Toast came out so crunchy ,also waffles anything you can put in the toaster came out yummy 😋 i definitely love this product and highly recommended 👌 Cuisinart made excellent products microwave air fryer toasters love it love it ..

I am disappointed with this toaster. I like the way it looks, but its functionality is not great. It is taking some time to learn how not to burn the toast. On the lowest setting ~ once is not enough; but a second try on the same setting burns it. That's my main complaint. My other complaint is that it has taken two weeks for this weird new smell to stop. It seems to be all done with that now. So it's broken in I guess. I do like the "reheat" feature and the defrost feature.

I received this toaster about four months ago. I like it because it has the feature to do up to 4 slices. It works well on bagels and muffins. It took me a while to get the temperature to be right for me. But once set it is perfect everytime.
When the toast is done it raises to a level that it is easy to remove without burning your hands.
I believe this would be a great unit for a person like myself who lives alone or a busy family. My grandkids love it and use it often.
The price on this unit is good for what you receive and the outside cleans up easily and the crumb tray removes and cleans great.

This reminds me of the heavy toasters made when I was a child, those workded really well. This toaster is a bit of a disappointment.. To date, I've mainly used the the first two slots on the right and they only toast well on one side of the bread. I replaced my last 2 slice Cuisinart with this 4 slice toaster for the same reason; thinking it was defective. Is this just the way Cuisinart is now making all their toasters?
