Toaster seems fine so far. I haven't made bagels yet or anything frozen to see how ot goes. Used regular bread and eng muffins and reheat setting seems good so far.

Looks great on the counter and worked great initially, but I’m now getting toast that’s noticeably different on each side, and a half a setting can be the difference between good and burned toast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this toaster. 4 slots is a necessity for a couple who like to sit down to breakfast or lunch with bagels (t bg ey take so long that if we do them sequentially, someone always has a cold bagel). The wide slots and the bagel setting are additional pluses, as are the lift feature (reallly good when toasting smaller items). Haven't had much luck with defrost feature (but only tried to use it once or twice). Must note - this is my 2nd toaster. The pop up mechanism failed on the 1st one within the warranty period; Cuisinart stood behind it.

I like the configuration where the controls are on the long side. I love having 4 slots, and the controls are easy to use. The lifter feature is awesome. We replaced a Cuisinart toaster that we had for over 20 years, so I hope this new one lasts for many years, as well.
