Browns unevenly on each side. You can see the wires are different color of red, and inconsistently lit, in each compartment. Unfortunately, it was a gift in June and I don't have a receipt.

It has a clean look. Wonderful 4 sliced toaster. The only that I have a problem with are the darkening knobs- they are so loose that the move often so need to check before I drop the toast down. Other wise it is fabulous.
