I bought this few months ago since I thought I trusted cuisinart, however I’m very disappointed. Toast is very uneven and seems like timer has no consistency. Could have spent a lot less for this kind of quality.

I have come to the conclusion, after reading Many reviews on Many different brands of toasters, that not one toaster is perfect. Everyone has their option, and different ways in which they use their toasters. But I have to say I am happy with our 4 slice Cuisinart toaster! Yes you have to watch it some, but I had to do that with my old toaster. They don't make toasters like they did back in the 50's.
