Doesn't toast well even with dial turned all the way up. Bagel setting toasts on both sides. All other bagel settings I have used toast the inside .

Very poor quality. Nobs feel cheap. Overall it looks and feels like is going to break soon. Toast are not even. At same intensity one comes out burn and the other bread is not toast. I would not buy.

I was excited to get a four slice toaster. Extremely excited about the Cuisinart. Other Cuisinart appliances have been fabulous. This was so bad I took it back. On the darkest setting it would barely toast my toast. If I did it twice it would be OK. I really didn't want to have to do all that for a piece of toast. I went back to my ancient toaster oven until I can find a good toaster. Try it be, only if you can return it.

The coils in the slots don’t brown equally/ even on each side of the slots. What ever is being toasted must be turned in order to brown both sides.evenly. Other than that, the toaster works fine. This is my second toaster. Same model..

I must have had a lemon of a toaster. I had my previous Cuisinart toaster for almost 20 years. I plugged the brand new toaster in and the left side never worked. The toaster construction on the new toaster feels flimsy compared to the identical toaster Which finally gave up.
