It’s been a month with our toaster. It’s much better than our older one; it actually toasts the degree we set it too. Sadly, though, none of the settings of bagel, defrost, etc seems to change anything on the toaster. All elements heat the same on each setting, otherwise it is consistent.

We find the controls for making toasting darker or lighter could be better. The toaster seems to toast too dark making any setting above 2 to be useless. The "Bagel" setting, which toasts darker is not useful.
