I bought this just over a month ago. It is defective. The single slice slot when used only toasts on the interior side. How do I return this machine?

I am gluten free so needed a 4-slice so my spouse can use the other side with no contamination worries. I was so happy to see a bagel setting. Well that is a huge disappointment as it toasts the backside of the bagel..normally a bagel setting will not. Also the setting knob is very flimsy and fickle. If you set it on 2.5 it doesn't toast, if you set it on 3 it burns. I am extremely unhappy with this product and am currently looking for a new one.

All 4 slots will toast the bread, or frozen waffles fine on one side, but other side will be barely browned. You must take bread out, and turn it around to toast other side. I had previously purchased one these toasters(Cuisinart 4 slice), but returned it because it had the same problem. I purchased this one thinking the first was a fluke. I was very disappointed to find out my second one had the same problem. On the plus side, my wife thought her bagels were toasted to her liking. I plan to purchase another brand toaster, and put this one with my garage sale items.

I was going to return it but you want to charge me $10.00 to return it. I would have thought that for what I paid for it it would be a great toaster but it is not. I does not toast evenly. Poor Craftsmanship or Quality control. You can clearly see that the heating elements are not even, some are out farther than the others some are not out at all. I would think that would be a very easy test before you sold this product.

This toaster worked beautifully for the first 4 slices of toast. Toasted each slice evenly, then all toast made after that had cold spots as if some of the elements did not heat up. Very disappointed. I should have just kept my old toaster.

Doesn't toast well even with dial turned all the way up. Bagel setting toasts on both sides. All other bagel settings I have used toast the inside .
