I purchased the Cuisinart 4 slice metal slicer out of necessity of replacing an age old toaster. I chose the Cuisinart based on my experience with and the great reputation of the brand and after researching it's ratings. It was a wise purchase. Toasts evenly and has various options from light to dark. Meets everyone's needs in this 5 member family!

Was expecting more for the price point. Dials cheaply made, settings way off eg: setting 3 toast is burnt. Good looking goes well with the stainless appliances.
