When our Cuisinart 4 slice toaster died after a number of years I wanted something with great design since it sits out all day and night. Of course I wanted a toaster that worked great also. A number of well known brands were on sale but they were too square in shape. We found this Cuisinart and thought "it looks like our OLD toaster!" When we brought it home it was exactly the same toaster!
