Works well, except that I really though the Bagel setting would toast the inside ONLY, but instead it toasts both sides, which often means charred toppings, especially things like "Cinnamon Crunch" which are my favorites.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this to replace our 5 year old toaster from a different brand. We're loving it. It toasts evenly and does its job right... Only complaint we could have is the fact that the bagel setting only adds more toasting time and doesn't switch it so that it only toasts the inside of the bagel.
