I bought this toaster about a month or so ago. For as much money as this toaster cost, you would think that all 4 slots would produce bread that is toasted on both sides. However, only the far left slot toasts both sides of the bread. The other 3 slots only toast one side of the bread.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After raising 6 boys and having another 4 slice toaster-we we’re thrilled that cuisinart offered one. It looks beautiful but it’s poorly made. The toaster handles are loose and feel unsafe. Very very let down and wish I returned it-I do NOT recommend this toaster. Looks are deceiving

This is the second Cuisinart toaster I have purchased. This toaster is an improvement because it toasts better on both sides of the bread. The only thing I don't like is that the toast darkness control knobs do not stay in the same position you set if you move the toaster. This means that every time I use the toaster I have to reset or recheck the knobs.
