Was not aware this item was DISCONTINUED when purchased. Have used it now about 5 times and it functions properly. A little more lightweight than I expected from Cuisinart though.

It is a very nice toaster, and i love the brush finish. It toast nice and even and fast. We are very happy with the performance of this toaster. I only gave it a 4 star because i think the body of the toaster could be a little heavier. I have only had the toaster for a couple of months but so far so good 👍

I am very disappointed with my new toaster. I am surprised at the poor quality. I always equated Cuisinart with high quality. But this toaster is worse than the one I replace . It toasts more on the top of the item than on the bottom. Adjusting 'darkness' doesn't help.
