The New Unit Is Made much Cheaper than the old.

I purchased this toaster to replace the exact same make and model that I have had for several years. The first thing I noticed was that the new toaster weighed much less than the previous toaster, and indication that the manufacturer has changed their product significantly. The second thing I noticed was that the toaster only toasted the bread on one side, in EVERY TOASTER SLOT! I returned this unit and kept my old dented one that works much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well and has looks that my style obsessed children love.
Maybe a tad pricey compared to the store branded toasters but feels solid and well built so hopefully will last the 20+ years our previous no bells and whistles toaster did.
Oh, absolutely no hint of AI and doesn't have WiFi or a built in web server so I deeply appreciate the simplicity and focus on the mission of toasting bread, bagels and English muffins.
