We had this same model for a few years and loved it, but it was time to replace it. We chose the same model because of the brand and satisfaction with the previous one. The quality is clearly not the same. This new one seems cheap and not as sturdy. It will probably be okay for a while, but we will be replacing it much sooner. (Sigh)

We previously had a similar model that lasted for years so we decided to purchase the same one. However, this one is lighter, and we have to move the controls much higher to have it toast properly. Somewhat disappointing.

It is not as sturdy & heavy as I expected. Great feature to be able to adjust each 2 slot to a different setting. My husband prefers his toast darker than me.
