I wanted to replace my old toaster because it was not toasting evenly. I thought spending a little more money on this Cuisinart might solve that problem. It doesn't matter how many slices of bread you use, one side looks like it was never
touched by heat. I have to turn the toast around and start again which means I have to give it my undivided attention to keep it from burning. Very disappointed.

The toaster works okay. It could toast better the first time it goes down. The settings knobs are loose and don't maintain their setting if bumped. Overall, it makes toast.

I love this toaster because the slots are wide enough to facilitate most bagels and buns and wider slices of bread plus I can do 4 at a time which is great when making 2 sandwiches.

We purchased this as a replacement to our old toaster, wanting something well made and durable. It works…fine….but it’s definitely not the quality I would have expected for the cost or from Cuisinart. The heating elements are inconsistent and you can look down and see that the top maybe 1/3 of them aren’t as hot (or even on) as the lower ones. The dials on the front are REALLY loose. Not in a way that will come off, but there’s a lot of play in them to the point that turning it to 3 could really be closer to 2 or 4 and you can’t really tell. Every once in a while it takes a couple presses to totally engage.
Honestly, for the money I would look at another option.

It looks cute and stylish in your kitchen. But it’s a little flimsy for a family. The bread slots are smaller than I expected do I have to cut all the bread before toasting. I just know the plastic toaster buttons will break at some point. Also, it either under toasts leaving soggy bread or over cooks. I would not recommend this toaster.
