Works well. Takes a few tries to see which number works on bread versus bagel versus English muffin etc. I wish the knob settings were harder got turn so they would stay in place.

First toaster knobs for setting the color of toast we’re super loose and had to adjust every time. Two of the heat cables were burndt out. Second one is ok. Love looks. The knobs are still pretty loose. Move easily.

Our old toaster finally gave up and started to smoke. So it was time to shop. I did research on 4 slice toasters and Cuisinart kept coming up being good. I own several other kitchen appliances from Cuisinart and they are great so I bought it. Makes great consistent toast and bagels in a short amount of time. Use it almost daily. Hoping to get years of toast.

This is not as well made as my old cuisinart 4 slice toaster that looked just the same. The control dials are very loose and do not stay on the settings. Also not as heavy as old one. Feels unsubstantial. Will not buy another one

Toaster toasts nicely, but the latch to hold the item being toasted does not always latch especially for lighter items like very thin slices. There is no guidance as to the best settings for different items.

I’m a little torn with this one. Not sure if the Cuisinart quality is going downhill or what but I just bought a Cuisinart and returned it after a week bc it wasn’t toasting properly. I bought this 2nd one which is a lot better than the last one but I don’t like how we have to push the lever down hard for it to toast. Also, it doesn’t have a light on when something is being toasted. That always helped from afar to look quick if it was done or not. So far, my Farberware I had for over 8 years was doing a better job than the last 2 Cuisinart toasters!
