My husband bought a less expensive one.
That was when I realized that my Cuisinart was worth it’s weight in gold .
I’m so happy to have it back . The overall even toasting efficiency and timeliness.
I’ll never purchase a less expensive version again. Not worth it .

I love the look of the toaster, very sleek and clean looking. It toasts evenly and has the different settings depending on the type of bread you are toasting. I would have given it 5 starts but am dissatisfied with the dials on the front that determine the level of doneness of the toast. They move very easily and would have preferred they click into place so that they don't accidentally move.

The slide that brings the toast down doesn’t work all the time. It keeps popping back up. The toast is either not done or almost burnt
