Nice design. Works well, but even at maximum temperature settings it takes two full cycles to completely toast slices of homemade bread or bagels. Lightweight materials, especially compared to the toaster we replaced. Ours arrived with the right-side temperature control dial broken and loose. So it has to turned fully to max since the number you point it to on the front doesn’t correspond to the internal setting.

Bought this toaster based on the Cuisinart brand and look. This toaster is pretty sharp looking but it does not work properly. It toasts unevenly and does not pop up all the time on one side. Maybe I picked a defective one? Will be exchanging for another hoping that the next Cuisinart toaster will do what it is supposed to do.

This is so much better then the older same model I replaced. I can actually feel the mechanism engage when lowering the lever, which was a big failure on my first edition of this appliance. The finish seems better quality also. The one thing still lacking is consistent toasting on both sides, although not as distinctly noticeable as my old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have not had it to toast evenly. Replaced first one because the corners on the back side was toasting too hard. Received a new one and the back side is darker than the front. For the price I expected much better results.
