When we went looking for a new toaster I had a few things I wanted and this toaster filled the bill. It was smaller, yet is able to toast bagels and english muffins. It is smaller than the one we have had for so long, but fits perfectly on my counter without being in the way. I am so happy we found this one.

Beautiful looking and I like the additional pop-up feature making it easier to get the toast and the defrost feature. However, it does not toast as well as my older one. The single part only toasts one side If I put a single slice into the other slots, there is uneven toasting. Need to retoast. Most inconvenient. Never had this problem before.

Browns a little uneven. The lever has to be pushed down HARD to engage. I'm comparing it to my last Cuisinart 4 slice toaster. Maybe it will improve with use.

I purchased the toaster because it looked identical to my old Black and Decker. This toaster will have one side of toast dark and the other light. I have to push in bagels and they do not toast on the top. Very unhappy with unit. The BD worked good for years. Sorry I disposed of it before starting to use the new one
