I bought this toaster right before the pandemic hit, mainly bc we had a 2- slice toaster and wanted the convenience of a 4-slice. It happened to be available in red when I purchased it, so I bought that color. Normally, we'd only use our toaster on weekends, but WFH changed all that for both of us. We've used the Cuisinart toaster for over 365 days in a row and it works great: 4 slots = no waiting for perfectly toasted breads and waffles ...yum! My 14 yr old dog sits patiently by the counter bc he loves all things breakfast-related. I don't know that a toaster would have made me as happy pre-pandemic, but funny how 2020 changed that. May no one ever run out of bread (or waffles) again.

Cuisinart brand is always important. The four slice toaster with wide slots is important. Idk if there’s one that has longer slots for artisan breads. A bit of adjusting with the settings but all’s good.

A very nice toaster! Nice contoured shape & looks great on the counter especially if you have other stainless steel appliances such as a fridge or stove. One thing I noted however, is differents breads toast at different settings, to be mindful of that so no burning occurs.

Bought this when my Cuisinart 2-slice toaster of +15 years gave out. Splurged on 4-slice and am so happy I did. This is great toaster, many options, sleek classic look!

I love this new toaster. I've always preferred having a four-slice toaster in case I'm making breakfast for guests. I also love the wide slots for bagels or thick-sliced bread. I have been very happy with the fast, uniform browning on my toast/bagels, etc. I've had toasters in the past that required up to three cycles. My only disappointment was to discover that the "Bagel" cycle on this toaster does not limit the toasting to one side of the bagel, as has been the case with my past toasters (and expected). When I consulted the manual, I discovered that the "Bagel" button just adds extra time for the expected thicker item. Like most bagel lovers, I prefer to toast the cut inside portion of the bagel only.
