Absolutely love this toaster. I have used it for a couple of weeks now, for frozen waffles, pop-tarts, and to make toast. Both sides are toasted to perfection, unlike my old toaster. Pop-tarts sit in the toaster without falling through, and the extra high lift makes it easy to remove them from the toaster. One reviewer said that the toaster wouldn't work, they took it back and got another one, and it wouldn't work either. Well, YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE LEVER DOWN HARD! When I first got mine I thought it was broke as well. Just push it ALL THE WAY DOWN!

The toaster is awesome, allows us to toast 4 breads at the same time, have the option to toast as Bagel for regular bread to get a nice toast. They originally gave this toaster to us when we got married and when the old one got messed up my wife search for the same model. Excellent quality, for it to last 16 years.

This is a classic, analog toaster. We just replaced one just like it, that served us well for 15 years. Basic functions are fine and the styling, size and materials are perfect for our purposes and aesthetic sensibilities.

Some of the coils do not light as being hot and the bread and muffins do not toast equally. Our last Cuisinart toaster was the same way which is why we bought a new one. Maybe a different brand would have been a better to this issue.
