We replaced our Cuisinart 4 slice toaster with a new Cuisinart 4 slice toaster and their quality has gone downhill. The handle needs to be pushed down numerous times to stick on both sides and it is not toasting evenly. The new version is smaller and more lightweight and does not hold the wide loaf bread pieces that the old one did. We are considering returning it.

I bought this about a month ago and am very disappointed with the bagel setting that toasts the bagel on both sides instead of just the face of the bagel.

We bought this toaster through credit card rewards points. It has been a godsend, and truly saved our marriage of 22 years. My husband has been fed up with our two-slot Toastmaster toaster we received as a wedding gift all those years ago. It was taking forever to make simple white bread toast ( he likes it burned) and I was having a hard time parting with such a precious gift. Well, being able to use our credit card points to purchase this stylish toaster of the future brought love back into our marriage. Now there is no more fighting in the morning.
