First it reboots for unexplained reasons, some users say it may be due to a recently installed app. But when it reboots, any apps installed to MicroSD (formatted as internal storage) dissappear. Came with a bunch of Google bloatware (i don't need google play music or movies or a Google Korean input??!) if you disable them, then the phone stops working. You reenable them and some problems are fixed but now the camera won't work and the sd card needs to be reinstalled at every reboot. You can backup the phone, but not restore! I would get a G7 Plus, but guess what? It's not available in the US. So i will give the Nokia 7.1 a shot. The Oneplus 6t looks great, but it's at the flagship price point.

NOT durable. Buggy

I loved this phone, and love the way the OS is set up. My first Motorola phone. Day 3 of owning and loving it: It is in a shockproof case, falls from 8 inches to floor.. Glass shatters. Still working but can't read a lot of text on it. The screen flashes a lot (similar to a screenshot) and the system has a few flaws. The multiple notifications of a single text is annoying but not a deal breaker. The battery life is AMAZING!!! I stream radio 9 hours a day and it doesn't use 40%. My LG K10 would require 2 recharges in that same time frame. Bottom line: if you need durability, go with a different phone. If you want to save money and need battery life and decent photos.. this is a pretty good choice.

Hi Beila, I appreciate having one of our phones. The device has a Gorilla Glass screen which gives anti-scratch resistance and not shatterproof. The screen is made of glass which is fragile and can be cracked when dropped. Your feedback is important to us. We'll share this with the team.

Constantly freezes, slow on opening any programs, camera takes forever to "capture" moment. Will not run properly on wifi. Memory is low. Constantly having to reboot phone to get anything done. Nice case, decent battery life

Hi JennFranks, thanks for sending us you feedback. Can we try to put the phone in Safe Mode? To boot into Safe mode, press the physical power key, touch and hold Power off, touch OK when Reboot to Safe mode appears. Please let us know if the issues remain even when in Safe Mode. You could send us an email to supportforums@motorola.com. -Jhei

My old flip phone, when I got a text message, would give a 'notification sound' every couple minutes till I answered it. Nice for when I didn't hear it the first time. This moto g play 6th gen only gives a 'notification sound' ONE TIME. If you don't notice it.....too bad. Instead, you have to manually check the phone periodically for any new messages.

Hi JOPdiy,
I appreciate having one of our phones. Android devices are different from an old operating system. Notification sound will come only ones, but you can set a loud and long notification sounds through Settings.

Internal storage fills way too fast with no way of conveniently erasing it, if you can. After 6 weeks having to use SD card for extra internal storage. Every bit of the operating system seems old and out of date. Rather have my old Alcatel phone than this piece of s###!!!

Hi Arsenal 2, thanks for bringing this up to our attention. The device comes with 16/32 GB internal storage (depends on which one you have purchased) that can be expanded up to 128 GB using an external SD card. It is also operating at Android 8.0 Oreo. Here is the link to learn more about the device: https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-g-play-gen-6. Moreover, we want to make sure that you get the most out of the phone, can you please give us the specifics on what you mean about "Internal storage fills way too fast with no way of conveniently erasing it"? Please let us know by sending us an email to supportforums@motorola.com. -Jhei
