After 27 years with our GE microwave, we finally replaced it with newer model. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with the old one, just updating appliances and a few more features (due to technology advances!!)

Reliability problems!

First one went dead. The replacement developed a stick latch that needed 2 hands to open. I’m giving it one more chance with my third one in a year. Quality control is lacking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. One note, however, the door shutting is loud and there is no mute button to mute the beeping sounds.

We had one for well over 10 years and it worked great the entire time. Now the new one is even a cleaner look and also works even better.

I don't have any photos. I like the slick look of the appliance. It is easy to figure out. I like that I could get it in white. It's a good size for my countertop.

Great features, but heats unevenly

This microwave is a replacement for my 20 year old GE microwave. The new one has all of the great features that I liked about my old one such as the 30 second button, the turntable, and it is easy to wipe clean. My only complaint is that it heats unevenly. When heating a mug of liquid, the top portion will get so hot that it boils over while the bottom of the liquid is still cool to the touch. I have attempted to remedy this by placing the mug on top of an upside down bowl while heating it in the microwave. This raises it up so the focus of the microwave energy is not just hitting the top of the mug. Not what I was expecting from a brand new appliance.
