Great replacement for my 20 yr old GE microwave

This is very similar functionally to a 20 year old unit that finally started to not work as well. The footprint of this is smaller (takes up less counter space) even though it's equivalent space inside. My only complaint is I ordered the black and stainless steel model and it's often hard to read the buttons. I suppose over time I'll get used to where things are and it won't be an issue. Also I had to print out the manual because I had no idea how to work the "vegetables" button. (1 for fresh, 2 for frozen...)

Basic Microwave

So far, this is a good basic countertop microwave for the price paid. Disappointed that the key pad does not have any backlighting (must turn on lights to read) and the stainless steel is not smudge proof and immediately shows prints.

Every Feature I Need

I replaced a smaller but full-featured microwave. I chose this because it was one of the few white ones offered and it lit up when door opened. I use programmed features successfully. I like the layout of keypad. I hopes it lasts as long as 20+ year one it replaced.

This is the best microwave that I have ever bought! The only cons are the handle to open the door is pretty stiff and the plug is straight making it stick out from the wall further than I like. Otherwise, its great.
