Nice modern appearance

I am disappointed with the fact that the buttons on the front have to be pressed very hard in order to operate microwave. I was used to the ease of a simple light touch.

Great ... Except ...

I purchased this unit in the stainless finish, and it’s very attractive. However, I hate that the light inside the unit is EXTREMELY dim, both when you open the door and when the unit is running. Also, it’s very difficult to read the words on the keypad. The words are printed in white against a black background, but the print is very dull and you need to get up very close read the words. I did cook a potato using the potato button, and it came out cooked to perfection...just as though I had baked it in a regular oven. That’s most important, so I’m keeping this unit.

It’s small 1150 watts, but Heats up fast. It’s light weight and does the job. Love it

don't buy the trim kit

we bought the matching trim set that GE recommends. it does not fit. so we sent back and got a different one GE recommended and it doesn't fit either. microwave is fine but accessories are not

Very convenient panel with several minutes of choices with 1 touch. However, I feel the digits to push for everything should be somewhat more sensitive to the touch as seems you have to press quite hard to have unit start.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My boyfriend gave me this microwave to improve the cooking time of certain foods. Compared to the 700 watt microwave I had before, this microwave cooks faster, the food is hotter, and the meals are superb. Great product, and great gift...
