Good buy for the price

This our second GE countertop microwave. Our first one is 15 years old and still being used at our daughter's house! We tried an over the range microwave, broke after 2 years. So we decided to buy this one, hoping it last as long as our first microwave!

Looks good but a few items I would have wanted on it. Don’t like that the timer will not shut off without hitting the timer button. Or that it has the option to program it to. Also don’t care for having to hit the cook time before entering a time other than minute intervals. Also dimensions did not account for the bulge in the back of the unit. That added about 4 more inches to the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This replaces a W.P. microwave that didn't last six months. got off to a rocky start, the first one GE set was damaged from the factory, but they made it good in just a few days. Even during the pandemic. MW is quiet, has all the balls and whistles that we will ever use. Great for popcorn or preparing dinner. We would recommend this product to anyone who asks.

This microwave cooks like a beast. I love the 30 second timer. All microwave's should have a 15 second timer and 45 second timer. The buttons are slightly hard to push and the display is small. Three stars for now lets see how long it lasts.
