Our old microwave died after 10 years of service. We wondered if we could get a larger one so I could fit pies, caseroles, etc. in it. This one fits the bill. It was priced decently and has many features. The print is a little hard to see, but other than that, it is nice.

Best Quality Microwave for the money

Great Microwave, Our old (not GE) microwave started sparking out of one of the vents. Knew it was time for a new one. I am a retired Director of Quality Assurance from an Aerospace manufacture company so when I review something I am looking at the Quality of the product first and then pricing. This GE product came out on top in both categories. New one is GE-JES1657SMSS, 1150 watts which gets things cooked quicker. nice styling, all of the features needed for a counter top microwave. I reviewed all of the brands and the GE came out on the top of the list. GE Products have always been good for me in the past so I always put them on my list of ones to review.
