Good performance, efficient yet practical size, perfect design and function overall. Being all white suits my home office decor. Concealed envelope feeder a nice touch, and works smoothly, as does the scanner. Overall, I am very pleased with this all-in-one unit from HP.

Great peformance, but no multitasking.

However two drawbacks:
1. Cannot multitask-- i.e. while fax is being received or sent cant be used as copier. Similarity if scanning is being done, cannot print.
2.Scanning/faxing of two sided docs needs two passes (one for each side).

I bought this printer as a replacement for my HP 4 Plus after it finally died of old age and thousands of pages through it. The HP MFP M227fdw is a great little printer that is loaded with features. My wife and I both have iPads, therefore the "air print" feature is really a great feature for us. The printer is very easy to set up so you can get started printing really fast. Did I say fast? This thing prints really fast. No long waits to get your printed pages. I would buy it again.

My last 4 printers have been HP. They last until you can no longer get drivers for them. Wanted a new monochrome printer, compact, duplex with loads of other features. This one filled the bill and no regrets after 4 months of use. Would recommend to colleagues.

I was reluctant at first to buy this product. First thing, my computer has no internal hard disk drive . Second, I am not so familiar with an online set up. Given this condition, I was afraid I might not be able to set up the printer online. I took the risk of doing it myself. The attempt paid off. IIt was a breeze . I was happy that I did it myself and I did not spend anything for the installation.
