Disappointed with this accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d hoped this piece would be great for ttempering chocolate. I’ve tried a couple of times now and haven’t been successful. I’m really not sure if this is user error or not but after following the directions in booklet twice, I’ve had disappointing results. Definitely not worth what I paid. I d much prefer some of the other accessories available for my mixer if I had it to do over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received the precise heat mixing bowl we made pizza dough and it turned out perfect. I have put dough in our oven to help it raise but it’s hard to regulate the perfect temperature so it does get to hot this works perfectly. I am excited to use it to melt chocolate. I think we will find a lot of ways to use it.

Works but smells awful

I love the idea and the product, but can't stand to use it because of the electric motor smell. It hasn't gone away and is bothersome enough to give headaches. My livelihood relies on income from baking and I was so hopeful but in the end disappointed.

Not real user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this before Christmas and was pleased, but I did find it hard to use. I followed the directions and it seemed like it just didn't want to work the way it was supposed to. I figured it was because I used it as a stand alone. This would be a great machine if it was a little more user friendly. I would still recommend this product with the hope that they listened and made some improvements. It might have been the chocolate I used too. I used the chocolate wafers from Winco bulk section.

I mean big disappointment and a waste of money. it cost more to return it and I've lost enough. all the research I did on this product was a waste of time. worked with it for 4 days and gave up...very disappointed Kitchen aid would put out a product like this. My advice... Don't waste your money!!

not good

it takes hours to makes a temp off 82 degrees celsius
and i dont believe the temp on the screen is the temp in the bowl because i made the base for icecream and it want get even a bit solid
i have a lot off equipement from kitchenaid and they are all good but this is a verry expensive dissaster
