[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought me the Pro Series 7 quart Candy Red as a gift for the holidays just in time for Thanksgiving. I love the color, so beautiful on my counter and fits perfect under the cabinets. It was a major upgrade from the Artisan 4.5 quart he got me 7 years ago which is still working like a champ today. It was great for smaller batches. I really wanted a mixer that would do the work for me and this mixer does it by far. I’ve made triple batches of chocolate chip cookies, quick breads with the paddle attachment with no problem. I’ve also made double batches of cinnamon roll dough and pasta dough with the dough hook and it kneads so effortlessly which I love. That’s one top reason for our purchase was for heavier dough’s and it really does the job nicely. I really love that the mixer isn’t loud, It’s night and day compared to the Artisan mixer. I really appreciate that it came with the coated paddle and S hook attachment so I can just throw them in my dish washer. The double wired whip attachment I haven’t had the chance to use yet but it’s stainless steal and beautiful! If you follow the instructions on how to use this mixer you will have no problems making multiple batches at once, this Pro series 7 quart is AWESOME!! Thank you My Love and KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for Christmas because I bake a lot, and large quantities. My white bread recipe makes 4 loaves and this baby powers through, no problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer is noisy when it is running. I like the size but The dough hook doesn’t reach the bottom and sides of bowl to pick up all the flour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fervent and frequent amateur baker and have been using a Kitchenaid 5 qt tilt-head mixer for the last 20 years. I've been wanting to upgrade to the 7 qt for a few years now. For Christmas, my son and boyfriend made it happen! I absolutely love it! The more powerful motor is taking some getting used to, but it is wonderful having the increased capacity.

Powerful Machine, But Not What I Thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Pro-Line series mixer after my Artisan tilt mixer broke after 12 years. I loved my Artisan mixer. I chose the Pro-Line after reading comments that talked about how powerful it was. And it is. And that is what I need for making bread and large batches of things. It is PERFECT for that. However, be aware you CANNOT use your old attachments (Artisan ones). It is horrible for mixing small batches of things, for example small batches of frosting, etc. You may as well just break out the whisk and bowl and do it yourself. The paddles do not reach all the way down low enough into the bowl, so everything stays clumped up and sitting under the attachments and not mixed. It's really a headache. I will have to buy another Artisan to use for my regular family baking and mixing needs. I am sure that is what KitchenAid planned. Also, I am not a huge fan of the non tilting head. I liked being able to tilt it up and reach into the bowl easier. And one more thing, the cover that it came with doesn't fit it. I have tried a million times and ways, it just doesn't and it's too much hassle to mess with trying to get a replacement, so I guess I just wont use one. But, for large batches of things, yes it works very well and I am happy with that.
