Spent the week making cakes and bagels and bread. It was a joy. The only thing that had me somewhat worried was while baking a double batch of bagels. A very firm, gluten-rich dough. During several passes through with the hook, the motor seemed to stall, then power through. Is this part of the circuitry brain of the unit and a normal finding? Or, should I be concerned of a motor failure?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a family history with KichenAid, so I'm very familiar with the product. The first KitchenAid mixer I used was my mother's. It was purchased in the early 1970's and worked into the 2000s.

I've been using my 7 Qt. proline stand mixer for 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE it! I use it for everything from cookies to grinding meat. With all the attachments available for kitchenaid and the power of this machine, it can handle any job, big or small. I highly recommend this mixer!
